You and your family can DinoSOAR Into Stories through July 31. Fill your summer with Jurassic-sized fun as you embark on a reading adventure to collect badges and win prizes.

Summer Reading helps prevent the "summer slide," a recognized phenomenon of learning loss students face when school is out. Building consistent reading habits keeps learners of all ages mentally engaged all summer long.

This year, we're reading for a cause, and every registration counts! If we surpass 26,000 registrations, Jefferson County Library Foundation, opens a new window will donate $800 to Jeffco Eats, opens a new window, a local organization working to fight food insecurity in Jefferson County.

The students of Lawrence Elementary are presented with a novelty-sized check for $800 and celebrate with teachers and JCPL librarians for winning the 2025 School Contest Drawing.Students can also support their school. All reading logged by students counts toward the School Contest, and schools that improve their finisher rates from last year will be entered into a drawing to win $800 for their library.
