100 Books Before Graduation

Always be learning! Inspire a deep and lifelong love of reading with JCPL's 100 Books Before Graduation, a program for secondary-age students that picks up where 500 Books Before Middle School, opens a new window leaves off. Registration is open as soon as they graduate from fifth grade.

Get Started with 100 Books

The challenge is open to all secondary-age students once they finish middle school!

Read for Prizes

The journey to 100 books is as fun as it is easy! Earn a fire prize when you register, for each 25 books you read and when you finish the program!

And don't worry, 100 is just the beginning! Keep reading and logging to win more prizes! Participants can complete the program up to three times total!

Prizes can be picked up at any JCPL full-service location.  Finisher prizes will be ordered as part of the completion survey

Quarter Prize

For each 25 books you read, earn a free prize from a selection of items in our prize box available at all full-service locations.

Finisher Prize

Pick a book of your choice to own from Amazon at a price point of $15 or less. You will also receive a special cord to wear at your high school graduation.

Finisher prizes are ordered as part of the finisher survey, so fill out our survey as soon as you complete 100 books!

Paper Tracking

Mark off the books you read when you pick up your paper tracker at any full-service location or download, opens a new window and print your tracker from home.

Online Tracking

Register online through Beanstack!

  • Search for "Beanstack" in the app store on your device and install it.
  • Select "Find Your School or Library" and then search for Jefferson County Public Library.
  • Sign in or sign up for an account.
  • Enter the title of the book you read or scan the ISBN number with your device's camera.
