Increased access is coming to Conifer Library! Beginning May 28, summer hours will take effect, expanding morning and afternoon access for our patrons.
The Conifer Library shares a building with the Conifer High School, making it unique among our 10 full-service locations. During the school year, students use the space during the day, while the public Library opens in the evening and on weekends. Increasing access to the Library has been requested by the community over the years, and in 2020, JCPL expanded hours to great success.
Conifer Library's summer hours:
- Sunday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Monday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Tuesday: 12 - 8 p.m.
- Wednesday: 12 - 8 p.m.
- Thursday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Friday: Closed
- Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Opening at 10 a.m. two days a week allows Conifer staff to plan even more exciting programming. From Story Times for kids to Book Groups for adults, there's a little something extra for everyone at the Library this summer. All events can be found at jeffcolibrary.org.
The new hours also come just in time for the start of our Library Summer Challenge! Extended hours and programming mean even more chances to earn points, win prizes and support your schools.
School year hours are anticipated to resume on August 10. Learn more about the hours at our locations.
