Kick off the Halloween season with a Pumpkin Carving Contest!
Submit your pumpkin design starting Sept. 14 for a chance to have your pumpkin displayed at our annual Halloween Party. The top five winners will have their pumpkins showcased at our annual Halloween Party, and each will receive a four-pack of tickets to Disney on Ice!
How to Submit Your Pumpkin Design
Submit a photo of your pumpkin using the online submission form, open Sept. 14 – 21, to enter the contest. Your only limitation is your imagination!
Finalists will be announced in five categories:
- School Age (8 - 12)
- Teens (13 - 18)
- Adult (19+)
- Scariest Design (all ages)
- Best Book-themed Design (all ages)
A photo of an already carved pumpkin or a sketch of the design is acceptable. If chosen, the submitted design must be the one carved for the party. One submission per person.
Vote for Your Favorite Pumpkin
The first round of voting will take place at Columbine Library from Sept. 22 – 27. The top eight designs in each category will advance to the final round of online voting, held Sept. 29 – Oct. 4.
Each winner will receive a pumpkin to carve, available for pickup at Columbine Library beginning Oct. 6. The finished pumpkins will be showcased at the Columbine Halloween Party on Oct. 10, where each winner will also receive a family four-pack of tickets to Disney on Ice.
Celebrate the Top Pumpkins
Come to the Columbine Halloween Party for a spooky celebration and see the winners in person! Each winner will have their pumpkin on a special display for attendees to look at and enjoy.
