After closing our beloved Evergreen Library for redesign on August 21, opens a new window, we've been working to secure an alternative space for the Evergreen community to maintain access to library services. Located at 3731 Evergreen Parkway in the Courtyard shops of the Evergreen North Center, the Evergreen Parkway Temporary Library is now open.
Visit us to explore limited services like a small browsing collection, holds pickup, materials return, children's area and Wi-Fi-enabled Chromebooks for onsite internet access. Evergreen Parkway is open for standard library hours: Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, 12 – 5 p.m., with our friendly staff available onsite for assistance. Return materials at the returns bin conveniently located outside and available 24/7.
While we have loved visiting the Evergreen community every Sunday and Tuesday with our Bookmobile service, the last day we will offer this limited service will be Sunday, October 29. Holds currently in place for pick up at the Evergreen Bookmobile stop will automatically be routed to the Evergreen Parkway Temporary Library starting October 30. Holds that were previously placed for the Evergreen Library will also be automatically rerouted to the Evergreen Parkway. If you recently changed your hold pickup location to a different library, like Conifer or Golden, and would like to change your pickup location, opens a new window, simply select "Evergreen Parkway Temporary Library" when placing new holds. To update your current holds, log in to your MyJCPL account or call us at 303-235-5275. Hold pickup location cannot be changed for in transit, Prospector, Mobius or interlibrary loan holds, or holds that are ready for pickup.
