About Golden Library

  • The Golden Library has a small, dedicated parking lot. Since it is located in a busy area of downtown Golden, as well as near river and trail access, parking is often affected by nearby community events. Patrons can use the lot west of the Library, which belongs to the city, and the first two hours of parking are free. Patrons using that lot must register their cars to avoid fines.

  • Meeting rooms can be reserved up to 60 days in advance, at no cost. All meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible and offer power.

Equipment available: chairs, tables, running water, whiteboard, projector and screen, lectern, laptop, microphone.

  • Jefferson County Public Library buildings feature ADA-compliant design and architecture, including:

    • Parking
    • Public computer desks and walkways
    • ASL interpreter available for library programs
    • Large print plugin keyboards and trackball mice are available on request
