Summer Reading is Finished!

This summer, we filled our days with adventure as we soared into stories and dug up dino-mite fun!

Students from around the county let their boundless imaginations and love of reading roar loudly this summer. More than 11,500 students took part in Summer Reading this year, competing for a chance to win $800 toward their school library. Congratulations to Governor's Ranch Preschool, El Creek Elementary School, Summit Ridge Middle School, Bear Creek High School and Jefferson Academy Coal Creek Canyon for increasing your finisher rates and winning the drawing!

Teen Writing Contest

From our talented teens, we received 67 sensational submissions for the Teen Writing Contest! Through vivid imagery and powerful storytelling, they crafted rich new worlds and unforgettable characters to dazzle our panel of local YA authors. We'll announce the winners on Sept. 1, so stay tuned to our website!

This summer, your votes helped make our community a brighter place! Thanks to your registrations and the support of Jefferson County Library Foundation, we were able to donate $800 to Jeffco Eats.
