Where can 100 books take you?
Jefferson County Public Library is excited to introduce 100 Books Before Graduation, a new reading challenge for students in grades 6 – 12.
Building on the success of 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and 500 Books Before Middle School, the program encourages teens to read what they love, discover new perspectives, and develop lifelong reading habits. Participants can track their progress, earn rewards along the way, and work toward the goal of reading 100 books before graduating high school.
Since 2017, more than 13,500 young readers have participated in JCPL's youth reading challenges, collectively reading over 2.5 million books. 100 Books Before Graduation continues that tradition by giving teens the freedom to read what they love while building a habit that can last a lifetime.
