Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) and HDR, a global engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services firm charged with designing the Belmar Library remodel, are co-hosting a number of community meetings to solicit input on the upcoming remodel of the Belmar Library, planned for 2019.

Initial meetings will be held from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Friday, October 12, opens a new window and from 10 – 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, opens a new window at the Belmar Library Meeting Room, 555 S. Allison Pkwy, Lakewood.

“We depend on the community to tell us what they’d like to see when we’re planning a library remodel,” said Donna Walker, executive director, JCPL. “We want to ensure that the library reflect the unique characteristics of the Lakewood/Belmar community.”

Residents will be invited to offer input on Library services, design and layout, by sharing what they like about the Belmar Library and what they’d like to see change or improve. All Jeffco residents are invited to attend, and light refreshments will be served.
