• What is the Express Library?

  The Express Library is a convenient, self-service location that requires a registered Jefferson County Public Library card to access the space. This staffless location allows patrons 18 years and older to independently enjoy a variety of library services similar to those offered at traditional JCPL locations, including:

  • • Holds pickup
    • Browsable collection of popular books and DVDs for children, teens and adults
    • Self-checkout kiosk
    • Two computer stations
    • Printer with copying, faxing and scanning capabilities
    • Public Wi-Fi
    • 24/7 access to external Returns Bin

• Where is the Express Library West Arvada and Returns Bin located?

  The Express Library West Arvada and 24/7 Returns Bin are located in the Arvada West Town Center shopping plaza, near the intersection of West 64th Avenue and Indiana Street. The address is 14455 W. 64th Avenue, Unit O, Arvada, CO 80004.

• What does "self-service" mean?

  Patrons will use the Express Library services on their own. Library staff are not present onsite but available for remote assistance during standard contact hours, using the Express Library phone or by contacting JCPL staff at 303-235-5275. The Express Library phone can also be used to contact 911 in an emergency.

• What are the Express Library hours?

  The Express Library is open seven days a week, including holidays.

  Monday – Saturday: 5 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  Sunday: 5 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  If you require remote assistance, please contact JCPL via the Express Library onsite phone or call 303-235-5275. Phone support from the Library is during standard Contact Hours. For emergency assistance, please dial 911. 

• How do I enter the Express Library once I've registered?

  To enter the Express Library, scan the barcode of your registered JCPL card at the entry panel located to the right of the entrance door, or type in your card number using the keypad.

  Enter your four-digit PIN. This is the same PIN used to login to your library account online. This will unlock the door and allow access to the Express Library.
