Whether you want to move faster than a speeding bullet or watch the hours advance at the pace of the sun, Standley Lake Library is the place for you. It is, in fact, just the right kind of place for serious fun. Get serious with the Jefferson County Historical Collection or other informational books. Have fun with the volumes of bound comic books or the microfilm of Superman's debut in Action Comics Vol. 1. If you're serious about Shakespeare, you can find all the production records from Stratford-upon-Avon on microfiche. And glance at the oversized sundial on your way in - it's set to Daylight Savings Time.
Located just south of Standley Lake in Arvada, this library is the farthest north of the libraries in Jefferson County and serves the growing high-tech areas in that part of the county as well as the residential neighborhood where it sits. Students and professionals alike enjoy working in the open, well-lit spaces. But don't forget to save time for some fun, too.
