Exciting news! JCPL has a new way to print, scan, translate and a whole lot more!
ScanEZ stations are now available at Edgewater and Lakewood Library as part of a pilot program. We are assessing the level of interest and usage of these machines among our patrons — come check them out!
With the new ScanEZ stations, you can:
- Translate documents to and from English, as well as 120 other languages and then save the new document to a USB drive or send it to email or an internet account.
- The flatbed scanner has a special edge designed for book scanning.
- Scan a text document and translate it to an audio file in one of 19 languages.
- Scan a document and save it to a USB flash drive.
- Scan a document and send it to your email.
- Scan to One Drive, Google Drive and Dropbox.
- Scan to your smartphone.
- Photo scanning as well as some editing and restoration options to help clean up or restore so it looks like the original. Useful for photos or newspapers.
The ScanEZ stations come with a great instruction book with step-by-step instructions.
To print off any scanned document, patrons need to then send that document to the ePRINTit SaaS application.
