Jeffco Eats, opens a new window, a nonprofit founded by Barbara Moore, strives to feed all of Jefferson County.
Though Jeffco Eats focuses on school-age children to ensure no child goes hungry when school isn't in session, they provide food to anyone in need. During the summer, they will be at Belmar, Lakewood and Edgewater Libraries on Fridays to provide weekend food bags to those in need on June 16, 23, 30 and July 14, 21, 28.

Jeffco Eats will supplement Lunchbox Express by offering weekend bags to those who would benefit from additional food items over the weekend and providing an option to those who may not qualify for Lunchbox Express.
