It’s that time of year again – butterflies, young romance and the overbrimming excitement for the big dance.
Make someone’s dream come true by donating clean formal wear and accessories to Jefferson County’s 9th annual Prom Swap. Not only will you clear out some space in your closet, but you’ll also give another prom-goer an outfit for the night.
It’s simple! For any single item of clothing or accessories you wish to exchange – shoes, dress, tux, or accessories – you’ll receive a ticket entitling you to new prom merchandise.
Don’t have any old formal apparel to donate? No worries! Buy your tickets with leftover canned goods – five cans per dress tuxedo/suit, two cans for shoes, and one can per accessory.
Leftover donations will benefit Floren Crittenton High School, among the largest providers of services for pregnant and parenting teens in Colorado, the JeffCO Action Center who provides tools for achieving self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless, and the Arvada Community Food Bank.
