Improvements are coming to your e-reading experience! E-book aficionados and audiophiles alike are invited to a new digital content experience from Baker & Taylor this fall. Their current Axis 360, opens a new window app and platform will be replaced by a reimagined and re-engineered digital service called Boundless on September 26, 2023. Intuitive, easy to use and fun, Baker and Taylor's Boundless aims to help libraries better meet the reading and learning needs of their communities.
We're excited to roll out this new experience for our patrons, which promises the latest in app and web technologies.
How to Update to the Boundless Experience
Save the Date for September 26
No action is required of you until on or after September 26. You won't be able to access JCPL materials on Boundless until after this date. Additionally, after September 26, you will no longer be able to actively read on Axis 360.
Web Users
On September 26, the Axis 360 website will automatically redirect to the new Boundless site. Our site will reflect these changes with new imagery and links.
App Users
- On or after September 26, follow prompts to download the Boundless app. Like Axis 360, Boundless will be available on the Apple App Store, opens a new window, Google Play, opens a new window and Amazon, opens a new window.
- Search for "Jefferson County Public Library" in the Library's Name or City box.
- Enter your library card number. If you can't remember your library card number, visit one of our fully staffed locations with an ID for staff assistance.
- Once you have transitioned over to Boundless, you can remove the Axis 360 app from your device.
After migration, your checkouts, holds, history and wishlist will seamlessly transition from Axis 360 to Boundless. And while Boundless offers additional features and a more modern experience, the basics will remain the same, with more details coming soon.
