School Contest

Reading Rock Stars!

Engaging students in reading is one of the best ways to help ensure future success in school, college or career.

Jefferson County Public School students are competing to win $800 to support their school’s library or reading-related projects. Schools can win $800 to support a literacy-based program or activity, thanks to support from the Jefferson County Library Foundation.

Awards will be given to schools in five categories with the highest percentage of finishers. Sorry parents and teachers - this one’s for the students. Only summer readers between the ages of four and 18 can participate, but you can cheer them on!
