School Contest and Teen Writing Contest Highlights
Our Jefferson County students blew us away with their boundless imaginations and love of reading. Over 10,000 students from more than 200 schools took part in the Summer Challenge, competing for a chance to win $800 toward their school library. Keep an eye on our School Contest page to find out which schools came out on top!
From our talented teens, we also received 58 sensational submissions for the Teen Writing Contest! Through vivid imagery and powerful storytelling, they crafted rich new worlds and unforgettable characters to dazzle our panel of local YA authors. We look forward to announcing the winners in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to our website!
Read for a Cause: Community Challenge Results
This summer, your votes helped make our community a brighter place. Thanks to the support of Jefferson County Library Foundation, we were able to donate to three outstanding local organizations. Your votes have been tallied, and the results are in!
