Lakewood Library will temporarily close beginning Monday, April 20, to replace the shelving and upgrade the meeting room's audiovisual technology.
The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks, with a confirmed reopening date to be announced once the project schedule is finalized.
During the closure, crews will install new shelving throughout the library and upgrade the meeting room's audiovisual equipment. These improvements will modernize the library and enhance your experience with easier browsing, improved organization of the collection, and better screens and sound in the meeting room!
The library will reopen once the work is complete and materials have been returned to the new shelving.
Updates and the confirmed reopening date will be shared as the project progresses.
