Show off your artistic side at Golden Library's Teen Art Exhibition! Jefferson County teens in grades 6 - 12 are invited to display their art at the Golden Library in October. There is no theme for this exhibit — just show off your best art!
Artists can submit up to three pieces of artwork for consideration. All mediums are accepted, including paintings, photography, digital artwork and drawings — artwork must be mounted or otherwise hangable. Due to space limitations, ceramics and other three-dimensional works will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Selected artwork will be displayed in Golden Library Sept. 29 – Nov. 3.
This exhibition celebrates the talented teen artists in our community by displaying their work in a public space. It is a wonderful opportunity for local teens to round out their college portfolios, build connections within their community and show off their passions. A closing reception will take place to celebrate these talented teen artists on Sunday, Nov. 3, where you can learn all about the art on display and the artists who created it.
Please submit images of your artwork to Teen Librarian Emily via email or library drop off by Sept. 24.
Each submission must include the following information:
- Artist's Name
- Age
- Grade
- School
- Title
- Medium
- Dimensions
Artists will be notified if their artwork is selected for inclusion in the exhibition no later than Sept. 26. Selected artworks must be dropped off at Golden Library for installation by Sept. 29.
