If you're looking for a job and need access to a computer or the internet to help in your job search, Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) has an exciting resource for you!
JCPL has partnered with the Jefferson County Business and Workforce Center (JCBW) to provide access to Chromebook laptops to help with your job search.
These laptops are available only to Jefferson County residents. You can reserve them by speaking with a JCPL staff member or via the JCPL online catalog. These items check out for 60 days, and the due date is not renewable.
The Chromebooks have built-in Wi-Fi/data for an internet connection wherever you are. The laptops allow you to create resumes and cover letters, explore job aid tools and conduct online interviews. In addition to the laptop, each Chromebook comes with a power cord, mouse, quick start sheet with directions in English and Spanish and a lightweight carrying case.
