Following the approval of our variance on Friday, March 10, JCPL moved ahead with cleaning the affected spaces in the Arvada Library. While we are unable to open to the public now, we are reintroducing limited staffing to the library and can begin the process of restoring library services.
We are excited to announce that limited curbside pickup services will be available starting Thursday, March 23! Additionally, you can return your materials to the exterior material drops starting March 20.
How to utilize limited curbside pickup services:
Select the Arvada Library as your pickup location. When you receive a Ready for Pickup notification, please park in a designated curbside pickup parking spot located in the alley behind the library. There, call the number listed on the signage, and we'll bring your materials to you!
All new and not-yet-in-transit holds placed for pickup at the Arvada Library will automatically opt for curbside pickup. As always, we will notify you when your hold becomes available for pickup. If you'd like to pick up your holds at another location, learn how or email arholds@jeffcolibrary.org.
While we can’t wait to reopen the Arvada Library to the public, we are excited about this step to restore library services in the area for our patrons. We thank you for your patience and understanding, and we’ll continue to update you on our efforts to reopen the Arvada Library.
