The Evergreen Library Outdoor Reading Deck is now open. The Outdoor Reading Deck features a pergola, a variety of outdoor furniture and the gorgeous views of the library’s "backyard" for reading, working or hanging out.
This addition to the Evergreen Library redesign followed the majority of the construction which was completed in April 2024. The James J. and Joan A. Gardner Family Foundation donated to enhance the space in the fall of 2024, and in the spring of 2025 the project began.
Access the Outdoor Reading Deck through the Quiet Reading Room. A combination of lounge chairs and small table and chair combinations are featured throughout.
