Enjoy a conversation with Colorado author Shelley Read during Jefferson County Library Foundation's Friends of JCPL Annual Meeting. The ticketed event will include a luncheon, an author talk and a book signing with international bestselling author Read. A book sale and additional signing opportunity will take place following the program.

About Shelley Read

Shelley Read is a fifth-generation Coloradoan who lives with her family in the Elk Mountains of the Western Slope, and much of her writing is inspired by the landscapes and history of Western Colorado. She taught for nearly three decades at Western Colorado University before becoming a full-time writer.

Read is also the author of the internationally bestselling debut novel, Go as a River. The novel has sold more than one million copies worldwide, been translated into 34 languages, and is currently in development for film with the Mazur Kaplan Company.
