Families are invited to celebrate culture, creativity and community at the annual Día de los Niños: Book Fiesta on Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lakewood Cultural Center, opens a new window.
The free event brings together books, music, dance and interactive activities to honor children and their cultural heritage. Attendees can enjoy live performances, connect with local organizations and resources, and take part in family-friendly fun throughout the afternoon.
This year's featured performers include Poppy the Clown, the LCC Junior Dance Company and LCC Core Dance Company, Breegan Kearney, Artmando and Mariachi Corazón Alegre.
The celebration will offer something for everyone, with plenty of surprises in store.
