Last week I informed you that Jefferson County Public Library is developing a gradual return to in-person services to meet the needs of our community in an effective, safe, thoughtful and sustainable way. We continue to follow state and local guidelines, including public health orders, to guide our decision-making processes and timelines. The first step towards implementing our plan is to offer curbside pickup and allow patrons to return materials, which I am happy to announce will happen very soon.
At the same time, JCPL will continue to offer and grow our digital collection, which you can enjoy from the safety and comfort of your home. Further into the future, we look forward to the possibility of offering limited services within our library locations and additional alternative services offsite.
