During the closure, limited library services are expected to be made available in mid-January at the former home of Arvada K-8 School at 5751 Balsam Street, Arvada, CO 80002. This location, named Arvada Balsam Temporary Library, will offer a limited version of the services provided at Arvada Library.

The Arvada Balsam Temporary Library location includes ample parking around the building that can be accessed via Balsam Street or W 57th Avenue. The building is a convenient two-minute drive or 12-minute walk from the Arvada Library. It can also be accessed from the W 58th Ave & Carr St RTD stop along the 52-bus route, or a 0.5 mile walk from the Olde Town Arvada stop of the RTD G Line.
