Jefferson County Public Library has completed its new 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, opens a new window, a roadmap that will guide priorities, services and investments in the years ahead. The plan was shaped by extensive input from staff, community partners and more than 8,300 residents who shared feedback through surveys and conversations.
The Strategic Plan introduces updated Mission and Vision statements and focuses on three Board Ends:
- Equity of Access
- Creating Place
- Our People
Together, these goals reflect JCPL’s commitment to equitable and free access, welcoming and safe spaces for learning and connection and a strong, supported workforce. The plan sets a clear direction for the future, with more details about implementation and next steps to be shared in the coming months.
