Jefferson County Public Library Expands Online Magazine Offerings

(Lakewood, Colo. - January 28, 2013) Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) is now offering online access to nearly 100 of your favorite magazines, including Bloomberg Business Week, Consumer Reports, ELLE Décor, Harvard Business Review, National Geographic, Parenting Magazine, PC World, Rolling Stone and more.

Magazines are made available for immediate, unlimited access through a Library subscription to Zinio, a global supplier of electronic content. They may be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the Library’s website ( under Research Tools, Magazines and Newspapers or through the Library’s online Download Center. First time users will need to create a user name and password to access the Zinio site. They will then have unlimited access to full digital copies of Zinio’s entire magazine collection, available via computer or mobile devices.

"This is a really convenient service for our patrons," said Donna Walker, public services director, JCPL. "Now you can get view financial information, check out recipes for dinner, research major purchases and keep yourself entertained anytime, anywhere. We help you find the information you need whether you’re commuting, waiting for services, shopping for appliances, or just hanging out at home."
