(Lakewood, Colo. – April 15, 2013) The Jefferson County Public Library Board of Trustees today announced the election of new officers:
- Chair: Ray Elliott, chief financial officer of Controlled Products System Group, Inc. Elliott has served on the Board since November 2010, most recently as vice chair.
- Vice Chair: Brian DeLaet, president and CEO of EduCyber, a web development and internet marketing firm. DeLaet has served on the Board since September 2011.
- Secretary: Julia Hill-Nichols, owner/principal of Leaders Cove LLC, a management and human resource consulting firm. Hill-Nichols has served on the Board since May 2012.
New officers were elected at the March 21 meeting and will serve from March 2013 to April 2014.
Also, in April, the Board of County Commissioners confirmed the reappointment of existing Trustees Brian DeLaet, Buddy Douglass, and Ray Elliott, who will continue to serve as Trustees through March 2016 or until reappointed or replaced by the BCC.

The Jefferson County Public Library Board of Trustees is a governing board serving the citizens of Jefferson County. Trustees are charged with establishing governing policies for the Library; employing the executive director; recommending a budget and dispensing funds; acquiring and overseeing libraries and library assets; and participating in strategic planning and library advocacy.
