New year; new us! We’re excited to expand our Story Time schedule for our littlest readers. We hope our new schedule makes it easy to find and attend Story Time offerings, which include Baby Time, Toddler Time, Preschool Time, Family Time, Let’s Dance, Discovery Play and Cuentacuentos En Español (our Spanish Story Time offering).
Starting in 2019, we’ll offer Story Times on the quarter hour, from 9:15 – 11:15 a.m., Mondays – Saturdays, as well as additional programs throughout the afternoons. Keep up with the Story Time schedule at the Library or online.
And, we'll offer Let’s Dance and Discovery Play every week at all Library locations. These exciting family programs are the perfect opportunity to not only have fun, but to learn with your little one. Build little brains as you move and groove at Let’s Dance. Or, build STEM skills through play, songs, crafts and stories during Discovery Play. You'll not only have fun, you'll be learning together.
We're happy to offer Cuentacuentos, our Spanish Story Time, at Columbine Library in 2019. Swing by at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesdays for family fun, as we share crafts, stories and rhymes in Spanish!
We’ve loved having fun and learning with you during this year's Story Times, and recognize that this new schedule may be a time of transition for you. Even if you can’t make it to a program that fits your child’s age, please remember that everyone is welcome to attend any Story Time. No matter how old your child is, they’ll have fun!
We invite you to join 1000 Books Before Kindergarten. Share books together, even the same story over and over. Books read aloud at Story Time count, too!
