Libraries helping voters make informed decisions during election

Election season is upon us. It’s time to exercise your right as an American citizen and vote!

Jefferson County Public Library is here to help. The Library is hosting an educational series called “Colorado Ballot Issues 2016.” Representatives from Active Minds offer an objective review of the ballot issues and a presentation of the arguments on each side of the proposals. Check out the complete event listing here. Can't make it to one of our locations for this program? Dial-in and participate by phone at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 13. Call 303-275-6173 to register or join us at the time of the program by calling 303-502-5189.

For those who prefer the digital world, you can easily use your library card to log into your JCPL account and browse around the Research area. You’ll find helpful resources, including a database called “Opposing Viewpoints.” People can type in any subject and get opposing viewpoints on tons of issues.

Election information, including polling places, is available at jeffco.us/elections.
