Summer is finally here! And we’re celebrating the kickoff of the season by launching into our favorite summer activity – reading! That’s right, Summer Reading is back at the Library!

This summer, when you register for Summer Reading: Mission to Readopens a new window, you embark on a journey of infinite possibilities. From out-of-this world titles in our cosmic-sized collectionopens a new window to space-themed programsopens a new window throughout our universe of libraries, there’s so much to explore. Shoot for the moon as you race to reach reading goals, and we guarantee you’ll land among the stars…er…prizes!

Here’s how it works…

Register onlineopens a new window or report to any mission baseopens a new window (Library location) to sign up in person. Registration is now open.

Your mission is simple: Read. Read. Read.

We’ve set our countywide mission goal at a lofty 50 million minutes. When we break this record, the animals at Foothills Animal Shelteropens a new window receive a $500 cash award, generously donated by the Jefferson County Library Foundation.
