Calling all teen artists! Lakewood Library celebrates teen art! Display your artwork (any medium) at the Lakewood Library this August and September. Connect with fellow artists. Share your passion. Explore what inspires you.
CALL FOR ENTRIES: July 1 – July 31
Submit your entry in person to Lakewood Library's Teen Librarian or email marie.mccolley@jeffcolibrary.org.
Each entry must include artist’s name, age, grade, and school; as well as the title, medium, and dimensions of the piece.
EXHIBITION: Aug. 1 – Sept. 30
Discover a new perspective. See the world through the eyes of Lakewood teen artists. Explore the mixed-media exhibition, which includes drawings, paintings, photography, collages, tiles and more.
ARTIST RECEPTION: Sunday, Sept. 30, 2 - 4 p.m.
Mix and mingle with original artists and fellow art enthusiasts during this closing celebration. Light refreshments will be served.
