Get Ready for Prom in Sustainable Style

Prom is right around the corner, and we all could use a wardrobe refresh! Get ready for the big dance with Jefferson County Public Library’s ninth annual Prom Swap, where you can donate your lightly used and clean formal attire and pick out a fashionable and new-to-you outfit.

Whether it’s your dreams or someone else’s that are coming true, Prom Swap connects you with a sustainable and exciting way to change up your closet.

Donation Days: Feb. 26 – March 11

Bring your clothing to the Belmar, Columbine, Edgewater, Golden, Lakewood or Standley Lake Libraries between Feb. 26 and March 11.

What happens to leftover donations?

Leftover attire and canned donations will benefit three nonprofit organizations that offer vital services to residents of Jeffco. Florence Crittenton High School is one of the largest providers of services for pregnant and parenting teens in Colorado. The JeffCo Action Center provides tools for achieving self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and unhoused populations. Community Table is a food pantry that offers nourishment and other resources to those in need.
