Jeffco Library invites kids to celebrate the library on Friday, August 12, 12 - 6 p.m. at the new Jefferson County Fair & Festival. JCPL helps kids connect, discover, and create at the Jefferson County Public Library playground located outside the Expo Hall. Kids are invited to climb onboard the Mobile Computer Classroom to read a TumbleBook, learn a language, play games, and discover homework help on the library website. The fun continues with giant board games, making vegetable stamp art, creating buttons, and playing with LEGOS® and Keva Planks. Faces will be painted from 12 - 4 p.m. as kids sign up for library cards. Patrons can bring their smart phones, tablets, and iPads and get trained on educational and entertainment resources from the library, as we’ll be offering free Wi-Fi.
