Banned Book Week: September 22 – 28
The 2019 theme, Banning Books Silences Stories, is a reminder that everyone needs to speak out against the tide of censorship.
Fashion Show: Saturday, September 28, 6:30 – 8 PM
Wearing original designs inspired by challenged, banned literature, and fandoms, teens celebrate with a runway show and banned book readings. Enjoy the photo booth, giveaways and participate in Q & A with our teen designers! Banned Books Week is an American Library Association sponsored event.
