Service Update - The alternative Library location at Bowles Crossing will close Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. in preparation for the Columbine Library Grand Reopening event. Returns will continue to be accepted at Bowles Crossing through Oct. 20.

Construction of the Columbine Library remodel is nearing completion, and we can’t wait to share the new space with you. Please join us for a grand reopening celebration on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Here are some things you can expect to see:

- new children’s area
- new teen’s area
- updated technology
- quiet reading room
- drive-up book return
- collaborative spaces
- open, airy feel

September 19, 2017 - Every week the library changes. So much is happening; it is hard to believe that the Grand Reopening is only four weeks away. Mark October 21 on your calendar, as the day to come and see the new Columbine Library. In the meantime here are a few pictures of what is going on in the library.
Below is a barrel vault between children’s and the main part of the library, the first is without the glass the second is with glass. The glass will allow the natural light to go through the building, but keep the noise out.
While we are talking about noise, the acoustical panels that will absorb noise have arrived, and are starting to be installed.
