Self-Improvement through Improv

by:

ImprovImprovisation has been embraced as a comedy art form for over 40 years. It’s also a powerful tool for self-expression and enacting life change. Steve Wilder, owner and artistic director of Denver’s Voodoo Comedy Playhouse is coming to Standley Lake Library to show you how to harness the power of “Yes, and…” to increase your confidence and help you think on your feet. Fun activities, interactive discussion and personal anecdotes are sure to leave you reeling with laughter, as well as better equipped to make your life everything you want it to be.

If you’re interested in learning more about the art of improv, check out So You Think You’re Funny by the Immediate Gratification Players. If improv’s ability to improve your emotional intelligence, increase creativity and get out of uncomfortable situations appeals to you, download Kelly Leonard’s Yes, And or Robert Lowe’s Improvisation Inc.
