Stouts and Stories, Ales and Tales is a six week celebration of Jefferson County beer and books with special events, tap parties, contests, prizes and a passport beer tour.

Jeffco Passport Beer Tour | October 1 - November 15

Pick up your Beer Tour Passport from any Jeffco Library or On Tap Credit Union. Then, visit our amazing brewery partners for discounted samplings. Get your passport stamped by three  breweries and you’ll have earned a prize. Choose from a limited edition koozie or bottle opener.  Visit six partner breweries and receive a limited edition etched beer glass to add to your collection. Prizes available while supplies last.

Stouts and Stories, Ales and Tales: Craft Beer Talk and Tap Event | Wednesday, Oct. 11 | 6 - 9 p.m.

Celebrate Jeffco beer and books at this adult only talk and tap event. Taste some of Jefferson County’s best craft beers while listening to TED-style talks from Colorado’s best brewers at the Lamar Street Center, 5889 Lamar St., Arvada (map). Plus the Bookmobile will be making a special stop from 6-7:30 p.m.

The event is free, but registration is required. You must be 21+ to attend; valid photo ID required.

Discuss the origins and history of beer with Active Minds. Learn how it’s made, the different types of beer and hear the stories of the rise of several great American brewers and beer families. Learn about current trends in microbrews and craft beers and their strong Colorado connections. Cheers!

Beer Pint Glass Etching | Dates and Locations

Customize your own beer pint glass using our glass etching technique.  Glass etching cream can be a bit messy, so please dress accordingly. No registration required. All materials provided, while supplies last.

Tap Parties

Jefferson County Public Library is hosting tap parties across Jefferson County. Join us for pub trivia, giveaways, and more!
